WHAT IS IMPROV?
So what is Improv?

How can Improv help my organization?
Perceived judgments or misperceptions often stop people from participating. Speaking up in a group can be intimidating—even frightening for some.
By learning and applying the principles of Improv, those barriers can be broken. People can begin to feel more confident about taking the types of risks that generate productive discussions and viable solutions.
This confidence empowers individuals in ways that may have otherwise been impossible. Plus it’s great way to decrease stress and boost morale.
How does Improv work?
A trained facilitator leads the groups in fun, interactive exercises that help them discover their innate creativity and problem-solving skills.
Everyone is encouraged to take part, and to learn more about themselves and their abilities in a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere.
By the end of the session you can expect to see greater cooperation, a new-found resourcefulness and a whole lot of smiling faces.
Who can benefit from Improv?
A better question might be: Who can’t?
Volunteers, co-workers, seminar attendees, even strangers—can experience the team-building, playfulness and creative freedom that Improv brings.
Improv can be used in organizations large and small:
· Corporations
· Small business
· Not-for-profits
· Schools
